Why the work mattered

A gold and crypto trading platform needed dependable backend services for live market data, trading flows, wallets, crypto gateways, and operational admin/provider workflows. The platform needed backend services that could keep trading, market data, wallet, and payment workflows coordinated across gold, tether, melted-gold, and crypto gateway domains.

What could not break

Live market updates, financial correctness, chart retention across multiple timeframes, third-party payment reliability, wallet auditability, and secure admin/provider operations.

How the pieces fit

NestJS and TypeScript services with MongoDB/Mongoose persistence, Redis, Socket.IO/WebSockets, scheduled jobs, payment gateway modules, TRON/BSC integrations, Docker, PM2, Swagger/OpenAPI, and logging.

My part

Built and maintained order, wallet, transfer, chart, socket, crypto gateway, provider, encryption, captcha, admin, and scheduled operational workflows while integrating external APIs and blockchain/payment providers.

What I was responsible for

  • NestJS and TypeScript backend service implementation
  • Real-time pricing, Socket.IO flows, and MongoDB/Mongoose chart history
  • Wallet, transaction, crypto gateway, provider, admin, encryption, captcha, and scheduled operational workflows

Calls I made

  • Kept market-data updates fast while preserving durable wallet and transaction records.
  • Used Redis, scheduled jobs, and external API integrations where they supported freshness, retries, or operational visibility.

What I watched in production

  • Financial correctness across wallet, order, and payment workflows
  • Market-data freshness across multiple chart timeframes
  • Third-party payment and blockchain provider reliability
  • Secure admin and provider operations around sensitive trading data
